Pandemien ble en gullgruve for mafiaen

Da koronapandemien traff Italia, var det bare et spørsmål om tid før mafiaen fant enda en inntektskilde.

I Italia pågår det nå store rettssaker mot den calabriske mafiaen, ‘Ndrangheta. Samtidig avslører nye etterforskninger hvordan politikere og byråkrater har vært involvert i mafiaklanenes aktiviteter. Særlig det italienske helsevesenet har vært en lukrativ affære for mafiaen.
